Profit calculator

A free Seller Center tool that works out what each order leaves you: commission, shipping, VAT, the cost of goods and import, with the break-even price and the price for the margin you want.

Before you set a product's price, open the Profit calculator from the menu (under Tools). It uses the same commission rules applied to your orders, and the label prices and warehouse fees set for your country, and the result updates as you type.

What you enter

  • Selling in (from your open countries), the product's category (search in Arabic or English), and the type of sale: retail or wholesale.
  • The price per unit and whether it includes VAT, the units per order, and any delivery fee the buyer pays. If you aren't registered for VAT, switch off Registered for VAT.
  • The cost per unit, and optionally import freight per unit and the customs duty rate; duty is worked out on the cost plus freight.
  • The shipping method: your own courier (your cost per order), a label on Majyk Danya's account at your country's fixed price, or the Majyk Danya warehouse with its picking, storage and label fees.
  • Optionally: ad spend per unit sold, the on-time guarantee with the share of orders you expect to be late, and the target margin.

What the result shows

  • The commission and the rule applied (category and rate), the label or warehouse fees, and the expected late-delivery credit.
  • Paid to your balance for the order and per unit.
  • The VAT you pay on the sale, and the VAT on Majyk Danya's fees you get back if you are registered, since our fees include VAT.
  • Your profit per unit and per order, and the margin on the sale without VAT.
  • The break-even price, the lowest price at which you lose nothing, and the price for your target margin, shown the same way you typed your price (with or without VAT).
