Alerts and first place

The platform tells you when you lose first place on a product you sell, with the price that holds it now but never the competitor's name, and when a review or a return comes in. Here is also what buyers are told about their saved products.

When several sellers sell the same product, one offer holds first place on the product page: the one most buyers buy from. First place goes by price with delivery, then rating and delivery speed; details in Offers and first place. Alerts tell you when that changes.

Your alerts in the Seller Center

New alerts appear in the Competition alerts section of the Home page. First place and prices are checked every 5 minutes.

Winning first place back

  • Check your price with delivery: it counts first.
  • Keep a good rating and healthy account; a warning weakens your offers.
  • Shorten your delivery time if you can.
  • Keep enough stock: an offer without stock can't hold first place.
  • Consider automatic pricing within limits you set.

Buyers' alerts

  • Save to my list (♡): when the product's lowest price with delivery, from any seller, falls 5% or more below the price the buyer last knew, they get a Price dropped alert. The reference price only moves down when they are told, so a price that rises and falls back never counts as a drop.
  • Tell me when it's back: when the product is back in stock from any seller, the buyer gets a Back in stock alert, once.
  • Buyers see these under Notifications in the store.
