Manufacturer and agent finder
A tool that searches the web for a product's manufacturer and its official agents and distributors in the Gulf and your markets, with their published business contacts and the product's registration in the six Gulf countries. Every item comes with its source and a confidence level.
When you want to buy a product to resell, it is best to buy from its manufacturer or official agent rather than from shops. Type the product's name and the Manufacturer and agent finder searches the web for the manufacturer, the official agents and distributors in the countries you choose, and the product's registration in each of the six Gulf countries, then suggests how to approach them.
How to search
- Open Seller tools, then press Open the tool on the Manufacturer and agent finder card.
- Type the Product name: the brand, the product and its model if any. If you don't know the name, press Get the name from a photo and choose a clear photo of the product or its box (JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB), then check the name read from it and correct it if needed.
- Choose the countries under Find agents in: the six Gulf countries, the countries the store is open in, and your own country and markets, up to 8 per search. The product's registration is always checked in all six Gulf countries.
- Read the line next to Search: before you search it tells you whether the search is free or what it costs. Then press Search.
- A search usually takes 1 to 4 minutes. You can leave the page: the result is saved under Your earlier searches.
What you get
- Manufacturer: the brand owner or factory, with its website and business contacts.
- Agents and distributors grouped by country, each with its role: exclusive agent, distributor, importer, wholesaler or brand office. Where no official agent was found in a country, the page says so.
- Only contacts companies publish for business: website, email, phone, WhatsApp and address, with a Copy button for each and Copy details for the whole company. Personal numbers or emails of individuals are never shown.
- Registration in the Gulf: for each of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, one of three states: Registered with the registration number and the registry link, Not in the registry when the official public registry was searched and the product wasn't there, or Couldn't check when the registry isn't open to search or this kind of product needs no registration there.
- How to approach them: short advice on whom to contact first and what to ask for, such as the wholesale price list, the minimum order, registration certificates and permission to sell online.
Sources and confidence
The tool shows a company or a registration state only with a link to the page it was found on, under Sources; anything without a source isn't shown. Each company carries a confidence level:
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| Confirmed on their own site | One of the sources is on the company's own website. For a registration: on the authority's own site. |
| From a reliable source | A trade directory, a LinkedIn company page, a marketplace seller page or a news item. |
| Not confirmed | A weak or old source: check it before you rely on it. |
Price
- The tool is pay as you go: some free searches each calendar month in your country's time zone, then a fee per search from your available balance. Your country's prices are on Seller tools and on the tool's page before every search.
- A search counts only when it finds something: a manufacturer, an agent, or a result from an official registry in a Gulf country (Registered or Not in the registry). A search that fails or finds nothing doesn't count.
- Search the same product for the same countries within 30 days and, when your earlier search found something, that result opens for free. Opening any search under Your earlier searches is always free.
- If another seller searched the same product for the same countries in the last 30 days, the result appears at once marked From saved results, and counts as one search as usual.
- Your available balance must cover the fee before a search starts. If it drops before the search ends, the result waits as Awaiting payment; press Pay and show the result once your balance covers it.
- Limits: one search at a time, at most 20 new searches in 24 hours, and 30 photos read a day.
- Each fee shows in Balance and payouts as Usage fee: Manufacturer and agent finder, and on Majyk Danya's monthly invoice. See Seller tools.
What is sent for the search
Only the product name you typed and the countries you chose, or the photo you picked to read the name, are sent to the AI. Your buyers' details and your orders are never sent. The photo isn't kept: only the name is read from it, then it is dropped.
