Offers and first place
How the offer in first place on a product page is chosen: price with delivery first, then seller quality and delivery speed, and what the “You lost first place” alert means.

When several sellers sell the same product, buyers see one page. One offer appears in first place with the add-to-cart button, and the others are listed below as offers from other sellers. The first-place offer is what buyers get when they press the main button, so it pays to know how it's chosen.
Who can win first place
- A new offer, not renewed or used.
- With stock available.
- A published offer from a verified seller who isn't suspended. Suspended sellers' offers don't show at all.
Offers that can't compete (renewed, used, out of stock) still show in the other sellers' list, sorted by price with delivery. First place is worked out separately for each country.
How offers are ranked
We start with what the buyer really pays: unit price + delivery price. Then we add a small percentage for seller quality and delivery speed, which gives a “ranking price”, and the lowest ranking price wins. This way a poorly performing seller can't take first place by pricing a little under a good seller, while a clearly cheaper offer still wins.

On a tie, the offer with more stock wins, then the one with the lower price with delivery.
Business buyers
For verified business buyers offers are ranked the same way, but using the wholesale unit price instead of the retail price when the offer sells wholesale. Retail buyers never see wholesale-only offers. See Selling wholesale.
The “You lost first place” alert
Every 5 minutes we recalculate first place for every product in every country, on retail prices as the page shows them. If you held first place and another seller took it while your offer can still win, you get an alert under “Competition alerts” on Home:
- “You lost first place” with the product and the country.
- “Your price with delivery” and “First place now”.
- The other seller's name is never shown.
- At most one alert per product and country every 6 hours, however often sellers swap places.
You don't get the alert when you lost first place because you ran out of stock or paused the offer. Offers with automatic pricing on don't get this alert, since their price moves by itself; they get “A competitor is cheaper than your lowest price” when needed. More in Alerts and first place.
How to win first place back
- Look at price and delivery price together: buyers compare the total.
- Shorten “Promised delivery days” if you can really keep them.
- Keep your account health and rating up: accept and ship orders on time. See Account health.
- Storing in the Majyk Danya warehouse lowers the ranking price by 1%.
- Turn on automatic pricing to follow the price for you within your limits.
