Write a great listing
Tips for titles, key features, descriptions and dimensions in both languages, plus what the contact-details filter blocks and what sends a product to review.

A good product page answers buyers' questions before they ask, which means fewer returns and more sales. The first seller who adds a product writes its page and remains the one who edits it (or the brand owner, if the brand is registered), and everyone who sells it later uses it, so write it with care.
The title
- The Arabic and the English title are both required, 10 to 200 characters.
- A good pattern: brand + product type + key feature + size, capacity, colour or count. Example for an unbranded product: Electric Kettle 1.7 L, Stainless Steel.
- The English title starts with the brand exactly as written in the brand field, unless the brand is Generic.
- The title only describes the product. These cause refusal: sales words (such as free shipping, best seller, sale, discount, offer, deal, brand new, buy now, «شحن مجاني» or «خصم»), emoji, the symbols ! $ ? _ { } ^ ~ < > * #, a word repeated more than twice, and an English title written all in capitals.
Key features
- At least 3 features in Arabic or English, one per line, each 500 characters or fewer. We recommend 5, in both languages.
- Start each with the benefit, then the detail, such as “Boils a litre of water in under 4 minutes at 2200 W”.
- Cover what buyers usually ask about: size, material, compatibility, what's in the box, and the warranty if there is one.
The description
At least 30 characters in one language, up to 5,000 per language. Write plain text with no HTML, in short paragraphs that explain use, care and what sets the product apart. Don't promise what the product doesn't do: an inaccurate description is the first cause of returns.
Weight, size and origin
- Packed weight in grams and package size (length × width × height) in millimetres as shipped, not the product's own size. Each dimension 1 to 5,000 mm.
- The weight is used for shipping labels and export cost estimates, so measure the real parcel. The assembled product size is added later in “View in your room”.
- Country of origin as a two-letter code: CN for China, AE for the UAE, TR for Türkiye…
Write in both languages
Majyk Danya buyers shop in Arabic and English, and search finds products in both. Both titles are required; one language is enough for features and description to be accepted, but writing both is much better. If automatic translation is switched on for the platform, a missing language may be filled by machine translation, shown to buyers as such. If translation has a fee, it only applies to your products once you switch on “Automatic translation” in My products, after seeing its price per product. Text you write yourself is always more accurate.
What the contact-details filter blocks
All contact with buyers stays on the platform, so a product is refused if its titles, features or description contain:
- An email address.
- A link starting with http or www.
- A web address, such as any name ending in .com, .net, .org, .ae, .sa, .io, .shop or .store.
- A long run of digits that looks like a phone number: 9 or more digits, spaces or dashes in a row, in Arabic or Latin digits, even if it's a model number or a barcode.
Messages with buyers have a stricter filter that also blocks messaging-app names and numbers spelled out in words. See Messaging buyers and Off-platform deals. When you edit a published product's text, the text you changed goes through this stricter filter too, as in Listing rules.
Other words to watch
- Counterfeit words such as replica, fake, 1:1, AAA quality, master copy, «تقليد», «طبق الأصل» or «هاي كوبي»: refused anywhere in the text.
- Health or medical claims such as cure, heals, FDA approved, diabetes, «يعالج» or «يشفي»: the product is reviewed before it's published. Don't make a claim no official document backs.
Writing from a photo
If “Write my listing from a photo” shows in “Name, features and description”, you can upload a product photo and AI writes the titles, features and description in both languages. The first 20 drafts are free, then a fee per draft comes off your balance; its amount shows next to the button before you use it. Check and edit the text before publishing: you're responsible for its accuracy.
