Protecting buyer data
You see a buyer's name, phone and address only to deliver their order. These are the rules for using that data, how the platform protects it, and what happens when a buyer deletes their account.
In this article
When a buyer orders from you, they trust you with their personal details. The seller agreement is clear: use buyers' details (name, address, phone) only to deliver their orders, and don't keep them after the order and its return period are over.
What you see about a buyer
On each order page, under “Customer”, you see only what delivery needs:
- The full name and mobile number.
- The address: city, area, street, building and notes for the courier.
- The short national address and the map location, if the buyer added them.
You don't see the buyer's email or any card details. For gift orders you see the recipient's details, and you must not put an invoice or prices in the parcel.

Allowed use
- Packing the parcel, printing the label and giving the details to the courier.
- You or the courier calling the buyer to arrange the delivery, and nothing else.
- Answering their questions about the order in “Messages”.
Not allowed
- Adding the buyer to marketing lists or chat groups, or sending them offers outside the platform.
- Copying buyers' details into your own sheets or systems and keeping them after the order and its return period.
- Sharing the details with anyone other than the courier.
- Putting cards or flyers in the parcel inviting the buyer to contact you or buy from you outside the platform.
- Using the buyer's number for anything else, even after delivery.
How the platform protects the data
- Names, phone numbers, streets, buildings, notes and locations are stored encrypted (AES-256); only the city and area stay readable, for courier zones.
- The Seller Center only opens with two-step sign-in.
- Card details never reach us: the payment provider takes them.
- Reviews show only the first name and the initial of the last name.
- The copy of your data you download from Account has your orders with their numbers, dates, items, amounts and statuses only, without the buyer's name, phone, address or what they wrote when cancelling.
When a buyer deletes their account
A buyer can ask to delete their account. It happens after 14 days, and only when they have no order on its way or within its return period and no open return. Their name, phone and address on past orders are then replaced with a dash (-), while invoices and amounts stay as long as tax law requires, without their name.
Your part
- Print labels only when needed, and destroy papers with buyers' details once the return period is over.
- Don't share your Seller Center sign-in with anyone, and never give anyone your verification codes.
- If you think buyers' details have leaked from your side, tell us at once through “Contact us” in the help center.
