Buyers on Majyk Danya see real prices they can trust. That's why the platform works out everything said about a price itself and allows no claim the figures don't prove. You're free to set your price, as long as it's honest.

How the platform shows prices

  • The price you enter includes VAT, and your delivery price is added to it. First place on a product page is won on price plus delivery.
  • There is no field for a “was” price. The platform records each product's lowest price with delivery every day and shows buyers its “Price history”.
  • Labels such as “Lowest price in 30 days”, “cheaper than other sellers” or “below its usual price” are worked out by the platform from that record, and only appear once there are at least 7 days of history.
  • A price far from the other sellers' prices for the same product (under 30% of their middle price, or more than 3 times it) is held for review before it goes live, to make sure it isn't a mistake.

Not allowed

PracticeWhy it isn't allowed
A fake “was” price, or raising a price before a “sale” and then cutting itIt misleads buyers, and consumer protection laws ban it.
A fake countdown, or an untrue “only 2 left”The platform shows only real deadlines and quantities, such as a group buy's actual time limit and real stock.
Prizes by chance: spin-to-win, mystery boxes, prize drawsThey can count as gambling under UAE and Saudi law, and the platform doesn't allow them.
Sharp price rises during a crisis or a shortage (price gouging)It harms buyers, and the authorities in the country of sale may ban it.
Putting a discount or deal in the title (“discount”, “offer”, “best price”...)The listing rules refuse it automatically.

Discounts in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Commerce requires a discount licence before any discount is advertised, and the price before the discount must be the price the product really sold at. If you advertise a discount to buyers in Saudi Arabia, in a live show or on social media for example, get the licence first.

Competing on price is fine

Changing your price to compete is normal. Automatic pricing moves your retail price between the lowest and highest prices you set, and never below the lowest.
